How far is the Big Easy KOA from the French Quarter?

The Big Easy KOA is less than 10 miles from the French Quarter.  We are the closest KOA to the French Quarter. Find us @ 29d 58.231m N by 90d 14.081m W

How often does the shuttle run to the French Quarter?

The shuttle departs the campground 9am and 5pm.  And we pick up at the French Quarter at 5:45pm.  We also have the city bus ( across the street from our campground) that connects to the Saint Charles Ave. Streetcar running continuously from 5am until 10pm.

Are tours available from the campground?

Yes, a large variety are available, let our staff make the arrangements for you.  To see our selection go to the Local Attractions in this website and click on Tours offered by The Big Easy KOA for a description.

How close is a station offering diesel fuel?

The BP station is  1 mile from the campground on Jefferson Highway. Or the Texico station on Williams Blvd is on your way back to the I-10.

How far is it to the nearest and best Seafood restaurant?

Our personal and the locals favorite is Harbor Seafood located on Williams Blvd near the I-10, about 3.5 miles from the campground.  Great fresh seafood, low prices!

How about breakfast or just a quick sandwich?

Just turn left out of the campground and in three blocks there is Dot's Diner which is always open.
